 We are a premium breeder of 100% purebred AKC registered IMPERIAL tea cup Shih Tzu puppies. We are a family that has grown up with Shih Tzu puppies and have been breeding them in the Arizona Valley for almost 30 Years!!
We like to say that we are not so much breeders as we are Shih Tzu lovers and we want to share the love with everyone.
We have furbabies of many colors; Black and white, tricolor, chocolate and every once in a while, we get an almost pure white puppy.
​Our imperial furbabies come AKC registration. Our average adult puppy weighs between 6-8Lbs full grown. we also have teacup furbabies that weigh between 3-5Lbs full grown.
We think our furbabies are the cutest and smartest around and we can’t wait for you to meet them.

About us
Puppy Love is what we offer from our home to yours for these wonderful, little perfect fur babies!
We are a small home breeder. We have been breeding this amazing breed since 1990. All of our puppies are registered with AKC. Our Stud has AKC official DNA registration! Our puppies are smaller than the standard Shih-Tzu also known as imperials or teacup. Teacups and Imperials are 3-10lbs. Regular Shih Tzus are 10-20 lbs. More than just the size we pride ourselves on the important breeding characteristic of a gentle disposition that has taken so long to breed into this line of puppies. Without this defining characteristic, all you have is another yappy, constantly barking, nervous small dog that you see everywhere. Our puppies are cuddly, fun, and quiet. What other breed of any animal will run and jump into the arms of total strangers and love them as much as they love you? Wouldn’t you like your friends to enjoy your dog like you do instead of have your dog just bark at them incessantly? The friendliness of these dogs is one of the defining characteristics that people just love!!! We were VERY fortunate in getting attached to the champion "Desert Stars" line. We didn't realize it at the time, but our dogs have a disposition that is uncommon in ALL breeding lines of dogs including most Shih Tzu's. You want an AKC registered, healthy dog, BUT what you want more is a dog that has a calm, NON-yappy, no biting, friendly to your friends, gentle, that won't mind sitting in your lap dog. You might say our dogs are more like a Dog version of a Cat, only with all the characteristics that you love about a Dog...loyalty, intelligence, and the ability to become a real "part of the family. They make excellent lap dogs. Don't expect them to defend you! These dogs will "kiss the boogyman."
We don't show the puppies till they are 3 weeks old and they can go home at 8-9 weeks old. We raise them in our home around our family and our other dogs so they are very well socialized by the time they go to their forever home! We love each of these little pups as our own and cant wait to find them homes to bring love and joy into!
